Medical company finds solution in fulfillment outsourcing

This month's customer spotlight is on Health Concepts Alpharetta, LLC. The Atlanta-based medical device company recently joined SBC as a solution to their import, warehousing and shipping needs. As a small start-up company, the decision to outsource their warehousing, packing, shipping and inventory management SBC’s automated WMS (Warehouse Management System) was the best solution. “It was a recommendation from a colleague of mine in the (medical) industry. SBC gives me the ability to have a scalable supply chain with limited resources,” says Health Concepts President, Matthew Walker.

The newly-formed company supplies neonatal medical devices to Apria Healthcare locations and medical centers nationwide. SBC is able to import Health Concept’s neonatal feeding tubes and photo-therapy diapers directly from overseas, store them in their 60,000 square feet of warehouse space, and ship these products to locations throughout the United States.

“As a full-service fulfillment company we are able to provide additional solutions for our client's growth,” says SBC Fulfillment Account Manager, Larry Hilbret. As the assigned Account Manger for SBC Fulfillment, Hilbret oversees and handles every detail of client support for SBC. “For clients such as Health Concepts, I ensure that everything goes smoothly which can bring piece of mind especially for businesses with projected growth,” says Hilbret.

SBC Fulfillment’s key service components such as importing, fulfillment, technology, and customer care continue to play an important role in industries such as the medical field. “SBC enables small companies without the infrastructure and resources to run an effective supply chain,” says Walker.
